About Us

We are a Bible based Christian church family, serving the communities of Dingwall and Strathpeffer in Highland Scotland.  Our church is Presbyterian (led by elders and deacons and a pastor chosen by the members of the congregation). 

Our minister is Angus MacRae (01349 862183 - minister@deep-river.co.uk), and the church staff includes James and Vickie Ross, our full time youth workers, along with many volunteers. See our staff page for details of our activities and ministry teams

Our churches belong to the Free Church of Scotland, an Evangelical and Reformed Church, with our spiritual roots in the Scottish Reformation.

Our church family is active - made up of diverse gifts and talents. We encourage small groups for fellowship.  At the centre of our shared life is an emphasis on Bible teaching and youth and family ministries.

Our local church buildings are both significant landmarks in our ‘town-scapes’.  Both date from the late 19th century.  Dingwall Free Church is one of the largest public venues in Ross-shire and can seat over 1000 people.  The Dingwall church building is undergoing a complete refurbishment to take our mission forward into the 21st century.

 

 

DINGWALL CHURCH is in the High Street, near the Railway Station. We are not using the church while a major refurbishment is carried out.

SUNDAY MORNINGS -  11 am (At Dingwall Primary School, Ross Avenue, IV15 9UU, from February to April 2008)

     With crèche, Faith Finders  & Sunday School

SUNDAY EVENINGS    -  6 pm (in the Church Hall)

 

Wednesdays at 7.30 pm  for Prayer and Bible Study

 

SERVICES AT STRATHPEFFER—Golf Course Road, Strathpeffer

Services are suspended for the winter months
